In-depth Exchanges Between Schools and Enterprises to Jointly Boost the Development of Industry-Education Consortia

In June 2026, a delegation consisting of department leaders and core professional teachers from Chongqing Telecommunication Vocational College visited Chongqing Zhongshun Microelectronics Co., Ltd. located in Dazu High-tech Zone. They conducted on-site tours of the company's production plant and held special school-enterprise seminars to negotiate long-term in-depth cooperation covering joint training of microelectronics skilled personnel, internships and practical training, co-construction of curricula, and targeted employment.

- Accompanied by school and enterprise executives, the college delegation toured the enterprise's Class 10,000 clean packaging workshop, MEMS sensor production lines, image module laboratory and reliability testing center. They gained first-hand knowledge of the full production processes of IC packaging, vehicle sensors and medical image chips, inspected the practical working environments of frontline technical posts, and obtained a clear understanding of the skill requirements for positions in the semiconductor packaging and testing industry.

- During the seminar, enterprise executives introduced the company's core business segments, production capacity layout and talent shortages. They noted that the enterprise was in urgent need of hands-on technical professionals specializing in microelectronics, electronic manufacturing and equipment maintenance, and hoped to collaborate with vocational colleges to establish a smooth talent supply pipeline. Representatives from the college elaborated on the distinctive educational features and practical training resources of its electronic information and microelectronics majors, and put forward cooperation proposals including building off-campus training bases, launching enterprise-targeted internship classes, inviting enterprise engineers to deliver on-campus lectures, and jointly developing specialized practical training courses.

- The two sides reached multiple consensus on cooperation: to build an off-campus practical training base for semiconductor packaging and testing to accommodate college students for on-the-job internships; to arrange senior process engineers from the enterprise to deliver hands-on training courses on campus; to open targeted recruitment channels for graduates to supply skilled talents matching posts in packaging and testing, quality inspection and equipment commissioning; and to launch joint small industry-university-research projects to comprehensively improve students' practical capabilities.

- Enterprise executives stated that the development of the semiconductor industry relies heavily on professional skilled talents. This school-enterprise docking activity will fully leverage the enterprise's advantages in production line practice and the college's educational resources, jointly cultivate technical artisans tailored to the local microelectronics industry. The cooperation will not only ease the enterprise's labor demand, but also facilitate high-quality local employment for college graduates, and work together to improve the talent support system for the electronic information industry in Dazu.
